Two updates were made to the licenses for WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment edition during the fourth quarter of 2019—one to the version 9.0 license and one to the version 8.5 license.

WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment version 9.0

The first license update applies to version 9.0 of the software, license number L-CTUK-BG6KYP. The update adds IBM WebSphere Application Server for IBM Cloud Private VM Quickstarter version 3.0 and IBM Cloud Automation Manager version 3.1 as supporting programs for WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment edition. This update enables WebSphere customers to use VM Quickstarter to orchestrate and manage the “lift and shift” of their WebSphere environments to virtual machines in VMware®.

WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment version 8.5

The second license update applies to version 8.5 of the software, license number L-CTUK-BHTJTZ. The update adds IBM Security Directory Server version 6.4 as a supporting program for WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment edition. This update enables WebSphere customers to replace IBM Tivoli Directory Server version 6.3, which ended support after September 2017, with the newer and renamed IBM Security Directory Server version 6.4.
