Multiprocessors with high core count servers available in IBM Cloud for big data workloads running on SAP-certified server configurations.

SAP-certified and VMware-compatible servers are available for SAP HANA in IBM Cloud. You can purchase multiprocessors with high core count servers to take advantage of cloud economics to support large VM and RAM sizes for big data workloads running on SAP certified server configurations. No other cloud vendor offers SAP-certified bare metal servers running VMware. The following SAP HANA servers are now available in IBM Cloud:

  • BI.S1.NW128 (VMware) (24 cores, 2.60 GHz, up to 4 drives, 128 GB RAM)
  • BI.S1.NW256 (VMware) (24 cores, 2.60 GHz, up to 4 drives, 256 GB RAM)
  • BI.S2.NW512 (VMware) (28 cores, 2.60 GHz, up to 12 drives, 512 GB RAM
  • BI.S2.H4100 (VMware) (96 cores, 2.20 GHz, up to 16 drives, 1024 GB RAM)
  • BI.S2.H4200 (VMware) (96 cores, 2.20 GHz, up to 16 drives, 2048 GB RAM)
  • BI.S2.H4400 (VMware) (96 cores, 2.20 GHz, up to 16 drives, 4096 GB RAM)
