Multiprocessors with high core count servers are available in IBM Cloud for big data workloads running on SAP-certified server configurations.

SAP-certified and VMware-compatible servers are available for SAP HANA in IBM Cloud. You can purchase multiprocessors with high core count servers to take advantage of cloud economics to support large VM and RAM sizes for big data workloads running on SAP-certified server configurations. No other cloud vendor offers a Quad processor offering with high core count servers. The following bare metal servers are now available in IBM Cloud:

  • Quad Processor E7 EX 4820v4 (40 cores, 1.9GHz, 24 drives)
  • Quad Processor E7 EX 4850v4 (64 cores, 2.2GHz, 24 drives)
  • Quad Processor E7 EX 8890v4 (96 cores, 2.5GHz, 24 drives)
