MQ on IBM Cloud – we’ve hit beta

We recently announced the release of the MQ on IBM Cloud experimental service, and following feedback from our early users, we have promoted it to the MQ on IBM Cloud beta service.

You can almost buy the fully-fledged service, but great messaging services come to those who wait. To tide you over, here’s what’s new in the beta:

– User and Application management is now integrated into the MQ on IBM Cloud service user interface, and is backed by IBM Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM)

– Queue manager logs and diagnostics can be downloaded for analysis and monitoring

– The MQ on IBM Cloud service instance will be provisioned into a resource group (instead of Cloud Foundry space)

Excited about the beta service? Take it for a spin, here.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact waleedar@uk.ibm.com.
