MongoDB is now considered the NoSQL database of choice and has been downloaded by more than 70 million users (half of that just in the last 18 months) as more and more organizations are looking for easier, faster, cheaper, and more flexible alternatives to traditional platforms.

Join this digital workshop to understand the value of the IBM and MongoDB Partnership and learn more about how MongoDB can accelerate your business by delivering new applications faster and helping you modernize existing ones quickly.

We will be hosting two events in order to allow participants from different time zones

America and Europe

Asia Pacific

Created by IBM Digital Technical Engagements (DTE).

What you’ll learn

Since this will be a hands-on experience, you will be able to do the following:

  • Install and deploy MongoDB
  • Enable security and prevent unauthorized access to your MongoDB databases
  • Understand Mongo Query Language and CRUD operations using JavaScript
  • Configure Replica Sets and High Availability and Disaster Recovery
  • Configure MongoDB using containers

Seats are limited—don’t wait to sign up!

Please make sure you create your IBMid if you don’t have one. An IBMid will be required for you to access your Lab VMs.

Getting ready for artificial general intelligence with examples

12 min read - Imagine a world where machines aren't confined to pre-programmed tasks but operate with human-like autonomy and competence. A world where computer minds pilot self-driving cars, delve into complex scientific research, provide personalized customer service and even explore the unknown. This is the potential of artificial general intelligence (AGI), a hypothetical technology that may be poised to revolutionize nearly every aspect of human life and work. While AGI remains theoretical, organizations can take proactive steps to prepare for its arrival by…

Probable Root Cause: Accelerating incident remediation with causal AI

5 min read - It has been proven time and time again that a business application’s outages are very costly. The estimated cost of an average downtime can run USD 50,000 to 500,000 per hour, and more as businesses are actively moving to digitization. The complexity of applications is growing as well, so Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) require hours—and sometimes days—to identify and resolve problems.   To alleviate this problem, we have introduced the new feature Probable Root Cause as part of Intelligent Incident…
