How does it work?

All OEM servers and hardware are certified to run Oracle Linux and Virtualization, as per the Oracle Hardware Certification List. IBM runs all end-to-end IaaS management, while you control your OS, DB, updates and licensing:

  1. Choose your “No OS” configuration, data center location, preferred billing, NVMe storage and more — all customizable inside the IBM catalog.
  2. After VPN connection, you’ll connect to the IPMI of your new server, mount your ISO image, install your OS and software and bring your licenses onboard.
  3. Your IBM sales and technical advisor will be there to walk you through the steps and/or address any questions, also provided in our IBM documentation.
