Premier keynote sessions

“Java and Cloud Native Transactions” with Ian Robinson, IBM, and Mark Little, Red Hat

Java-based distributed transaction systems brought the internet to enterprise data and played a key part in the digital transformation of almost all IBM and Red Hat customers through application servers. The need for transactional data access patterns remains but the requirements for transactions in cloud native applications are quite different from those that helped make the Java platform successful in the first place.

IBM and Red Hat have been working together, and occasionally fighting, in this space for years. In this keynote, we’ll talk about the changing nature of how applications will use transactions in the cloud.

Three tracks, live and on-demand

We’ve broken down our exploration of cloud dev into three tracks: Build, Deploy, and Secure.

Learn to build cloud-native apps faster. Deploy and manage your cloud native apps with increased confidence. Integrate security into your everyday processes. The possibilities are endless!

All sessions and keynotes will be available during the free live event as well as on-demand for 90 days after.

IBM named a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM, for the 14th consecutive time

3 min read - Security operations is getting more complex and inefficient with too many tools, too much data and simply too much to do. According to a study done by IBM, SOC team members are only able to handle half of the alerts that they should be reviewing in a typical workday. This potentially leads to missing the important alerts that are critical to an organization's security. Thus, choosing the right SIEM solution can be transformative for security teams, helping them manage alerts…
