The default version of Kubernetes support on IBM® Cloud Kubernetes Service is now 1.8.6.

Since November 2017 the Kubernetes Service has supported Kubernetes 1.8.x. We are proud to announce our default version of Kubernetes is now 1.8.6. In the near future, we will be providing support for 1.9.x.
