MySQL 8.0 is an exciting new version of the world’s most popular open-source database. It features improvements across the board, offering excellent enhancements for better performance, reliability, security and manageability, with significant improvements to the data dictionary.

IBM Cloud’s managed MySQL offering helps customers focus on application and business development by handling time-consuming database administration tasks, such as high availability, automated backups, vulnerability patching and much more.
