PostgreSQL is now available for Hyper Protect DBaaS
As of August 8, 2018, IBM Hyper Protect DBaaS Experimental has a new addition to the databases it can support—PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL is an open-source object-relational database system that uses SQL language and myriad features that safely store and scale all kinds of data workloads. Hyper Protect DBaaS will soon match the level of functionality for PostreSQL that is seen on its support for MongoDB.
How do I run PostgreSQL on Hyper Protect DBaaS?
Running PostgreSQL on Hyper Protect DBaaS is just as easy as it is with MongoDB. Simply select it from the drop-down menu under Database Type, as shown below:
