For the 2016 Met Gala in New York City, high-fashion design house Marchesa literally lit up the red carpet with a cognitive dress that applied color psychology to match emotions. The resulting piece, created with Watson’s Cognitive Color Tool and worn by supermodel Karolína Kurková, had 150 connected LED flowers that lit up in different colors based on real-time sentiment in the room and on Twitter.

Watson reviewed images of 200 Marchesa dresses to suggest materials and colors for the world’s first cognitive dress.
