The Hardware Management Console (HMC) is used to configure and control one or more Power servers. It was earlier available only as an integrated appliance that included the underlying hardware as well as the HMC firmware. This trial for Virtual Hardware Management Console (vHMC) allows users to deploy HMC firmware as a VM in their existing x86 system.
Note: This trial is for existing IBM Power clients (IBM Power8 or higher) and lasts for 60 days.
