Changing the stage duration during a run

You can increase or decrease the duration of the current stage during a schedule run.

Before you begin

You can change the duration of a stage that is set to run for a specified time. You cannot change the duration of a stage that is set to run until the work is complete. You can change the duration of a stage when the status is Running. You cannot change the duration of a stage when the status is Ramping or Settle Time.

Procedure

  1. In the Performance Test Runs view, click the Change stage duration push button. The Change Stage Duration window opens.
  2. Type the new stage duration in Run for specified period of time. Type a value that is longer than the amount of time that has elapsed for the current stage. Use the list to change the time units.
  3. Click OK.
