What is it?
Widgets are small applications that reside on your computer desktop offering information and services from your computer and the web. You can use such widgets to customize your desktop and therefore make the information and services that are most important to you more easily accessible.
The IBM Widget gives you access to IBM news, stock price and the latest special offers from IBM. In addition, you can search IBM's web site and find contacts within IBM. The widget resides on your desktop delivering this function without you even needing to open a web browser.
How can I use it?
The widget is now currently available for Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 SP4 and Mac OS X 10.3.9 and up. It is recommended that you have the latest service packs and updates.
This widget uses the Yahoo! Widget Engine. You will need to download and install the Yahoo! Widget Engine if you have not installed it before.
You can download the IBM Widget here. Once the download has completed, simply click on the icon to run the widget.
