Syntax correction for checkvob on UCM components

Problem

This technote identifies a documentation defect in []IBM® Rational® ClearCase® 7.0 Administrator's Guide[], where the syntax to run checkvob on a ClearCase UCM component does not match the correct syntax in []IBM Rational ClearCase Command Reference Guide[].

Symptom

The IBM Rational ClearCase 7.0 Administrator's Guide (page 170) on the topic of Restoring critical Rational ClearCase data in the section titled Restoring one or more members of a set of related databases sub-section Restoring a component VOB contains the following checkvob syntax:

Note: This is incorrect syntax, as -component is not needed.

The IBM Rational ClearCase 7.0 Command Reference on checkvob states the syntax should be:
