Abstract

This document provides information about the support duration and fix delivery for Operational Decision Manager.

Content

Important: Starting with version 8.12.0, Operational Decision Manager follows a new IBM support lifecycle policy, called Support Cycle, as described in IBM Software Support Lifecycle Policies.

For versions 8.10.x and 8.11.x, Operational Decision Manager is delivered under the terms of the IBM Continuous Delivery Support Lifecycle Policy unless otherwise stated. The support policy covers the entire lifecycle of the product, from time of commercial release to time of end of support.

Support duration

Operational Decision Manager 8.10.x and 8.11.x

In the standard IBM continuous delivery support model , IBM provides technical product support for at least two years. This support starts with the availability of a new product version or release. IBM also offers an optional, fee-based support extension for at least one additional year. 
ODM 8.10.x and 8.11.x releases vary from the standard continuous delivery support model:
  • Technical product support is available for at least three years.
  • IBM Extended Support is available at the end of base support. 

Operational Decision Manager 8.12.x

  • Operational Decision Manager 8.12.x follows the new IBM Support Cycle-3 lifecycle policy.
