Add a Value to the Defined List of Values for an Extended TextAttribute

About this task

You can add a value to the definedlist of values associated with an extended text attribute.
Note: Thefields marked with * are mandatory.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Object Extensibilityscreen. To navigate to the Object Extensibility screen perform thefollowing steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center asan administrator.
    2. From the System Setup Home pageexpand the Customizations menu and then click ObjectExtensibility .
    The Object Extensibility screen is displayed.
  2. In the Extended Object tree selectthe extensible object to which the attribute you want to modify belongs. The list of attributes for the extensible object is displayedin the Extended Attributes Panel
  3. Click the short description of the attribute you to whichyou want to add a new value. The Attribute Details panel on the AttributeManagement screen is displayed.
  4. Click the Manage Properties linkin the Related Tasks panel. The Attribute Management screenis displayed.
  5. Ensure that the Defined List of Values radiobutton is selected.
  6. Click Add in the Valid Values panel.The New Value dialog box is displayed. Performthe following:
    1. In the Value* box enter the identifier of thevalue.
    2. In the Description* box enter a brief descriptionof the value.
    3. Click Save.
