Viewing attributes of active connections
Complete this task to check the status and other attributes of your active connections.
To view the current attributes of an active or on-demand
connection, follow these steps:
In IBM® Navigator
for i, expand and
click Secure Connections.
- Right-click All Connections and
select Open to display a list of connections
in the right pane.
- Right-click the active or on-demand connection that you want to view and select Properties.
- Go to the Current Attributes page to view the attributes of the connection.
You can also view the attributes of all connections from the IBM Navigator for i window. By default, the only attributes that display are Status, Description, and Connection Type. You can change what data displays by following these steps:
- In IBM Navigator
for i,
expand and
click Secure Connections.
- Right-click All Connections and
select Open to display a list of connections
in the right pane.
- From the Objects menu, select Columns.
This opens a dialog box which allows you to select which attributes
you want to display in the IBM Navigator
for i panel.
Be aware that when you change the columns to view, the changes are not specific to a particular user or PC, but rather, are system-wide.
