Getting to know System i Navigator

System i® Navigator is a graphical interface for Windows clients. With System i Navigator, you can use a graphical interface to manage and administer your systems.

Here is an example of the System i Navigator main window.

From this example, you can see the System i Navigator hierarchical tree view in the left pane of the window. It provides a familiar user interface for those experienced in using graphical interfaces. It also decreases the need for users to learn the character-based interface. System i Navigator functionality includes system navigation, configuration, systems management, and monitoring capabilities.
