This update contains the following changes as compared to Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 9.1.

- Linux boot and device configurations now support site-specific extensions and overrides that are selected when initiating the IPL process, see Site-specific Linux instantiation.
- The DASD device driver can now handle devices with copy-pair relations, see Working with DASDs in a copy-pair relation.
- Automatic recovery and an enhanced zpcictl command help you to manage malfunctioning PCI devices, see Recovering a PCIe device.
- As of IBM® z16™ and IBM LinuxONE 4, secure guests can now provide evidence that they are running on trusted hardware in IBM Secure Execution mode, see Linux as an IBM Secure Execution host or guest.
- You can now use the CPU Processor Activity Instrumentation Facility that was introduced with IBM z16 and IBM LinuxONE 4 to obtain counter data for specific cryptographic and analytic instructions, see Using the CPU Processor Activity Instrumentation Facility.
- As of IBM z16, the cpacfstats command can handle counters for Processor Activity Instrumentation (PAI), see cpacfstats - Monitor CPACF cryptographic activity.
