The encryption key manager did not respond to the drive or library that is managed by the Tivoli® Storage Manager server. Since Tivoli Storage Manager is not managing the encryption keys, there is an issue with the encryption key manager, the drive, or the library.
The operation fails.
This is most likely a problem with the encryption key manager (for example, a timeout or communication failure between the encryption key manager and the drive or library). Correct any issues with the encryption key manager and try the operation again. If the problem persists, contatct IBM® hardware support.
