Ensure that the password adheres to naming convention rules and meets the minimum password length requirement as set by your administrator. Ensure that the new password is different from the old password. If you are authenticating to an LDAP directory server ensure that the new password meets all other password policy rules specified by the LDAP directory server. Reissue the command with a valid password.
