Configure Activation Engine (QAENGCFG) API

The Configure Activation Engine (QAENGCFG) API allows for enabling or disabling the activation engine. This API is used for setting the configuration for use when deploying new partitions using captured images from IBM® Director VMControl.
Authorities and Locks
This API is shipped with *EXCLUDE public authority.
To use this API you must:
- be explicitly authorized to the API, or call the API from a program that
adopts enough authority to call the API and have *IOSYSCFG special
authority.
Required Parameter Group
- Activation request
- INPUT; CHAR(1)
The input value for the configuration request. Possible values are:
0 Disables the activation engine. 1 Enable the activation engine. This should be done before the partition image is captured. - Error code
- I/O; CHAR(*)
The structure in which to return error information. For the format of the structure, see Error code parameter.
