Represents a system or custom event that can be triggered on an Content Engine object or class of objects. This is the base event interface from which several subinterfaces derive, used primarily for auditing and subscriptions. You can audit all event types, and you can subscribe to all events with the exception of those that derive from the RetrievalEvent interface.
Through an event object, you can retrieve information about the object on which the event was fired, such as its permissions and the date the object was last modified. You can set some properties as well, if you have been granted privileged write access.
