If your installation uses RACF®, you have the option to define TSO/E users through the RACF data base instead of through the UADS. To do so you must first convert the UADS information to a form acceptable to RACF. If you use the RACF data base, MVS™ still requires that the UADS remain cataloged unless you have customized MVS to eliminate the requirement.
