SEND, OPERATOR SEND, and LISTBC failure exits

z/OS TSO/E Customization

The failure exits receive control whenever the command (subcommand) processor detects an I/O error on the user log data set when:
  • Opening or closing the user log
  • Reading a message from the user log
  • Storing a message in the user log

You can use the failure exits to recover from an I/O error.
