Operator commands

z/OS DFSMStvs Planning and Operating Guide

The options for the DISPLAY SMS command show you the status of these items:
  • DFSMStvs facilities
  • A specific job that is using DFSMStvs
  • One or more units of recovery
  • Entries in the shunt logs
  • Log streams in use by DFSMStvs
  • A data set being accessed in DFSMStvs mode
