Process Portal is
enabled by default in all IBM® BPM deployment
environments. However, your users might also need to work with Heritage Process Portal, for
example, if they use IBM Connections or collaborate on work.
About this task
The
Process Portal process
application contains the RESPONSIVE_PORTAL and RESPONSIVE_WORK client-side
human services that you can configure for your environment. The RESPONSIVE_PORTAL
client-side human service contains configuration options to enable
Heritage Process Portal.
Procedure
- In Process Center, open
the Process Portal process
application in the web Process Designer.
- Open the RESPONSIVE_PORTAL client-side human service, go
to the Coaches tab, and then open the Portal coach to display the coach views.
- Configure the Portal coach
to include a link to Heritage Process Portal:
- Click anywhere in the coach views pane to display the
properties.
- In the Configuration tab, select
the Show links check box, and then expand the Links section
to display the fields for adding the URL information.
- Complete one of the following steps:
- If you are using Process Portal in
non-federated mode, the system automatically discovers and populates
the link information for Heritage Process Portal if
you leave the fields in the Links section blank.
If you want to include additional links, you must also manually add
the fully qualified link to Heritage Process Portal.
- If you are using Process Portal in
federated mode, enter the name and the fully qualified URL for each Heritage Process Portal that
your users need to connect to.
- Save your changes.
Results
The next time
Process Portal users
log in, they see a Links section that contains one or more links to
Heritage Process Portal.
