Assigning user attributes

In the Designer view in IBM® Process Designer, you can create user attribute definitions to associate unique capabilities or qualities with one or more users. The Process Admin Console enables you to assign existing user attributes to multiple users simultaneously

About this task

This procedure triggers dynamic group creation, which can be time consuming. You can configure IBM Business Process Manager to deactivate these triggers. See Deactivating dynamic group updates.

You can assign user attributes as described in the following procedures.

Procedure

  1. Go to Start > Programs > IBM > Business Process Manager Advanced 8.0 > Profiles > Profile name > Process Admin Console.
  2. In the Server Admin area of the Process Admin Console, click the indicator next to User Management to list the available management options.
  3. Click the Bulk User Attribute Assignment option.
  4. Click either the View by Attribute or View by User option.
