db2rc - Start Replication Center command

Starts the Replication Center. The Replication Center is a graphical interface that you can use to set up and administer all replication programs for Q replication and SQL replication. This command is available only on Linux® and Windows operating systems.

Command parameters

-t
Turns on the Replication Center trace for an initialization code. On Windows operating systems, this parameter has no effect because the db2rc command does not have a console window
-tf filename
Turns on the Replication Center trace for an initialization code and stores the output of the trace in the specified file. The output file is saved in the DB2 install path\sqllib\tools directory on Windows operating systems and in the user-home-dir/sqllib/tools directory on Linux operating systems.

Usage notes

This command is available when you install the replication tools using a typical or custom installation of the following Db2® database products on Linux and Windows operating systems:
  • IBM® Data Server Client
  • IBM Data Server Runtime Client
  • Db2 Workgroup Server Edition
  • Db2 Enterprise Server Edition
  • Db2 Connect Enterprise Edition
