Explanation
The "open" of a device failed. Operation of the file
system may continue unless this device is needed for operation. If
this is a replicated disk device, it will often not be needed. If
this is a block or character device for another subsystem (such as
/dev/VSD0) then GPFS™ will discontinue
operation.

Problem diagnosis will depend on the subsystem that
the device belongs to. For instance device "/dev/VSD0" belongs to
the IBM® Virtual Shared Disk
subsystem and problem determination should follow guidelines in that
subsystem's documentation. If this is a normal disk device then take
needed repair action on the specified disk.
