Requirements for using bridges

Before you can import or export metadata, you must install required software programs, including Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.0 Service Pack 2. Some bridges have additional requirements that are detailed in the bridge reference topic for each bridge.

Requirements for using bridges apply to the client tier computer where the metadata interchange agent and the bridges are installed.
