Designing jobs that use the MDM Connector stage

You can use MDM Connector stages in your jobs to read data from MDM or write data to MDM.

1. Import metadata.
2. Define a job that includes the MDM Connector stage.
3. Define a connection to an MDM server
4. To set up the MDM Connector stage to read data from an MDM server, complete the following steps:
   1. Configure the MDM connector stage in member read mode.
   2. Optional: Modify the stage properties or columns.
   3. Optional: Create a reject link to manage rejected data.
5. To set up the MDM Connector stage to write data to an MDM server, complete the following steps:
   1. Set up column definitions on the input link.
   2. Configure the MDM connector stage in member write mode.
   3. Optional: Create a reject link to manage rejected data.
6. Compile and run the job.
