Use the following topics to learn how to create, install,
and manage packages.
Creating package templates
A package template is a skeletal directory containing files
(such as a default configuration file and image file) that you can
add to your process package. However, the package template cannot
contain a process XML file.
Installing process packages
After you have installed IBM® Rational® Change, you must install
a process package. Installing a package makes that package active
on the server. Unless a process package is installed, you can log
on only as Admin.
Resolving package conflicts
If you have customizations or a localized product, you
might run into some issues when applying a package, such as a patch.
This topic contains information about how to resolve conflicts if
they occur.
Uninstalling packages
Uninstalling a package makes that package inactive. However,
uninstalling a package does not delete the package. Always uninstall
packages in the reverse order of the order in which you installed
them.
Creating and installing change request process graphic files
You can create and install a CR process graphic file to
use with a customized CR process. The file can be in any format supported
by your web browser, such as .gif, .jpg, .bmp,
and so on.
