Configuring security certificates
The Jazz® Team Server includes a self-signed certificate for SSL with the WebSphere® Liberty server. When Jazz Security Architecture SSO is enabled on the Jazz Team Server, the Jazz Authorization Server also includes a self-signed security certificate. You can also import an existing certificate from one instance of Engineering Lifecycle Management Liberty to another Engineering Lifecycle Management Liberty instance.
Some browsers and clients might display a warning when accessing your Jazz repository. To stop the warnings, complete one of these options:
- Purchase a certificate from a well-known trusted Certificate Authority and install it.
- If you do not need encryption, configure the server for HTTP rather than HTTPS access.
- For information about resolving the certificate error in the Edge and Chrome browser, see Engineering Lifecycle Management self-signed certificate shows as insecure on browser.
