Upgrading the IBM Developer for z/OS integration

Upgrading the IBM® Developer for z/OS integration feature requires several modifications to the existing RSE miner configuration.

About this task

To upgrade the RSE miner, modify the IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) section of your rsed.envvars file as follows:

Procedure

  1. Modify the CLASSPATH statement to specify the location of the EWM installation directory. For example:CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:'/usr/lpp/jazz/v7.x/buildsystem/buildtoolkit/*'
  2. Modify the LIBPATH statement to specify the location of the new version Build System Toolkit directory. For example: LIBPATH=$LIBPATH:/usr/lpp/jazz/v7.x/buildsystem/buildtoolkit
  3. If the value of the SCM_WORK variable in your rsed.envvars file is not changed, the RSE miner uses the same work directory that was used in the previous release.
  4. Restart the RSE daemon.
