With the batch export capability, you can export data from
the InfoSphere® MDM
Reference Data Management Hub without
needing to use the graphical user interface.
Before you begin
Configure the batch export property file.
Before you
run the batch export utility program, you need:
- The name of the reference data set, data type, map, managed system,
or hierarchy that is to be exported and the associated version and
state information.
- The name of the batch export properties file and the path to the
file.
Procedure
- Open a command window and change to the directory that
was used to install the batch export utility programs. If you copied
the RunBatchExport.bat or RunBatchExportClient.sh file
to a different directory, then change to that directory.
- Run the batch export program in the command window, along
with the necessary command-line options.
- For Microsoft Windows operating systems, the
file name is RunBatchExport.bat.
- For UNIX operating systems,
the file name is RunBatchExportClient.sh.
- Change to the output directory specified in the properties
file and view the results.
