When WebSphere® MQ
has been set as the messaging system for InfoSphere® MDM,
you may encounter an issue when you try to deploy an EBA if improper
details were provided during setup. Follow this procedure to correct
the issue.
Procedure
- Log in to the WebSphere Application
Server Integrated Solutions Console (admin console).
- Navigate to .
- In the list of activation specifications, select AsynchronousWork_ActivationSpec.
- Under Additional Properties, select Custom properties.
- Scroll to the end of the resulting list of properties,
then click the arrow to go to the next page.
- On the next page, click the New... button.
- Complete the fields with the following details:
- Name
- WAS_EndpointInitialState
- Value
- INACTIVE
- Description
- (This value can be left blank.)
- Type
- java.lang.String
- Click OK, then click Save.
- Repeat steps 3 to 8 for the ScheduledWork_ActivationSpec activation
specification.
- Expand the System administration menu
and select Save changes to master repository.
- Select Synchronize changes with Nodes,
then click Save.
- Navigate to .
- Stop and then restart the server.
Results
When the server has been successfully restarted, the changes
have been applied and the old WebSphere MQ
messaging properties will be ignored.
