Logging on to the Product Maintenance UI

Access to InfoSphere® MDM is secure, therefore you must log on before any data displays, unless anonymous access is specifically enabled.

About this task

In the default configuration, you can access the Product Maintenance UI by opening a browser and entering the address for the Product Maintenance UI application.

Your user name is included in every transaction that occurs in the user interface, and is recorded as the Last Update User value when a transaction occurs that modifies or updates the InfoSphere MDM database.

To log on to the Product Maintenance UI:

Procedure

  1. Open your web browser and enter the address for the Product Maintenance application.

    For example, enter the address http://servername/.

  2. Enter your User name and password.

    Use lowercase characters.

  3. Click Login.
