Searching for products

You can search for products using the product ID or any of the product search criteria listed in this topic.

You have the option to search for a product based on a content language by selecting the language from the list and entering the product name. For example, you may want to search for a product based on its German name.

These fields are available as search criteria:

You can refine your search by entering additional search criteria from the Optional Search Attributes section and the Optional Search within Categories sections.

You can use wildcard characters (%) and look-alike (?) characters, or a combination of both when searching in these fields:

You can search for a product within categories by using multiple instances of any search parameters that have an Add button. For example, you may want to search for Product A in the Category Hierarchy A and Category Hierarchy B. You can use the scissor icon to remove the additional parameter.

If your search is successful, the Product Search Results window returns with a list of products that match the search criteria you specified.

Pagination is supported on the Product Search Results window. You can navigate through pages of search returns by clicking the supplied arrows.
