Searching for category hierarchies

The Category Hierarchy Search window contains fields to enter the parameters for the search that you are about to conduct. When the initial search is completed, you will have a list of category hierarchies that you can select from.

The Category Hierarchy Search Results window lists all category hierarchies found that match the search criteria you provided. The search criteria used in the search is displayed in the window.

The Category Hierarchy View window offers a path (breadcrumb trail) view type. The initial view shows the top level root category and any other category at the same level.

You can also view the direct children by clicking the Category Name link to open and display the direct descendents of the category selected. Each time you open a branch, the top level category is added to the navigation path. You must navigate through each level one at the time to find the category you want to work with.

To return to a previously explored branch, click the category name link in the navigation path section. This will close the current branch and shows the descendents for the category selected.
