Logging on to Data Stewardship

Access to InfoSphere® MDM is secure. You must log on before any data displays, unless anonymous access is specifically enabled.

About this task

In the default configuration, you can access Data Stewardship using a Web browser.

The user name you use to log into Data Stewardship is included with every Data Stewardship transaction, and it is recorded as the Last Update User value for any transaction that modifies or updates the InfoSphere MDM database.

Procedure

  1. Open a browser and type the address for the Data Stewardship application. For example, enter the address http://host:port/CustomerDataStewardshipWeb/faces/index.jsp.
  2. Provide your user ID and password in lowercase characters.
  3. Click Submit.

Results

Once you have logged on, you can access the following links from the navigation menu:
  • Party Maintenance
  • Party Suspected Duplicate Processing
  • Hierarchy
  • Grouping
