Creating a WSRR profile in an Integration Designer test environment

You create a WSRR profile in the Integration Designer test environment. Alternatively, you can augment the Business Process Manager profile that you previously created to include WSRR.

Before you begin

You must have installed Integration Designer and Integration Designer test environment. You must also have created a Business Process Manager profile on the Integration Designer test environment, and installed WSRR.

About this task

You create a WSRR profile in the Integration Developer test environment.

Procedure

  1. On the server where you installed the Integration Designer test environment and WSRR, start the Profile Management Tool.
  2. Click Create and select WebSphere Service Registry and Repository > Stand-alone Service Registry. Click Next.
  3. Select the Typical profile creation option and click Next.
  4. Select Enable administrative security and supply your WebSphere Application Server user details. Click Next.
  5. Supply the requested information about your database in the database pages. Click Next.
  6. Select the database product that you want to host the WSRR database. Click Next.
  7. By default, the JMS user ID and password are the same as the WebSphere Application Server user ID and password. To accept this, click Next.
  8. By default, the RunAs user ID and password are the same as the WebSphere Application Server user ID and password. To accept this, click Next.
  9. Review the summary and click Create to create the profile.

Augmenting the Business Process Manager profile

Before you begin

You must have installed Integration Designer and Integration Designer test environment. You must also have created a Business Process Manager profile on the Integration Designer test environment, and installed WSRR.

About this task

You augment the Business Process Manager profile that you previously created to include WSRR.

Procedure

  1. On the server where you installed the Integration Designer test environment and WSRR, start the Profile Management Tool.
  2. Select the Business Process Manager profile, and click Augment.
  3. Select WebSphere Service Registry and Repository > Stand-alone Service Registry and click Next.
  4. Select Enable administrative security and supply your WebSphere Application Server user details. Click Next.
  5. Select the database product that you want to host the WSRR database. Click Next.
  6. Supply the requested information about your database in the database pages. Click Next.
