When you activate a configuration profile, it becomes the
profile that determines your current WSRR configuration.
About this task
You can activate a configuration profile in either of
the following ways:
Procedure
- Use WSRR
Studio; see Managing Profiles on WSRR Servers.
- Use the web UI to complete the following actions:
- Switch to the Configuration perspective
if necessary, by selecting Configuration in
the Perspective list; the Perspective list
is located in the WebSphere® Service
Registry and Repository banner at the top of the page.
- Click .
- Select the configuration profile that you want to make
active and click Make Active.
- Use the The activateConfigurationProfile.jacl file script. The script is located in the <WAS_INSTALL_ROOT>\WSRR\admin\scripts_cell directory.
Results
The status of the newly activated profile changes to "Active",
and the status of the previously active profile changes to "Archived".
Note: Before
you begin to use the WSRR web UI, switch from the Configuration perspective
to an appropriate user perspective.
