Adding WSRR to the Integration Designer servers view

You must add WSRR to the list of servers in the Integration Designer server view.

Before you begin

You must have installed Integration Designer and Integration Designer test environment. You must also have created a Business Process Manager profile on the Integration Designer test environment, installed WSRR, and created a WSRR profile.

About this task

You open the Integration Designer client and add the WSRR server to its list of servers.

Procedure

  1. Open the Integration Designer client.
  2. Click the Servers tab in the lower right pane to open the servers view.
  3. Right-click in the servers view and select New > Server from the shortcut menu.
  4. In the Define a New Server window, select WebSphere Application Server v8.5.
  5. Enter WebSphere Service Registry and Repository v8.5 at localhost as the Server name and click Next.
  6. In the Installation directory field, browse for the installation directory of the Integration Designer test environment and WSRR installation (for example, C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppSrv). Click Next
  7. In the WebSphere Application Server Settings window, select the WSRR profile that you created from the Profile name list (for example, WSRRSrv01).
  8. Enter the password for authentication with the server, and click Next.
  9. In the Add and Remove window, click Finish.

Results

A new server, named "WebSphere Service Registry and Repository v8.5 at localhost", is displayed in the Servers view.

What to do next

You can select the WSRR server, right-click and select Start to start it. You can then see the status of the WSRR server in the Servers view.
