Httpport

The httpport option specifies a TCP/IP port address for the Web client.

Supported Clients

This option is valid for all clients. The Tivoli® Storage Manager client API does not support this option.

Options File

AIX operating systems HP-UX operating systems Linux operating systems Oracle Solaris operating systems Mac OS X operating systems Place this option in the dsm.sys file within a server stanza. You can set this option on the Web Client tab, in the HTTP Port field of the Preferences editor.

Windows operating systems Place this option in the client system options file (dsm.opt). You can set this option on the Web Client tab, in the HTTP Port field of the Preferences editor.

Parameters

port_address: Specifies the TCP/IP port address that is used to communicate with the Web client. The range of values is 1000 through 32767; the default is 1581.
