  4. Launch Installation Manager in console mode.
  5. Add the extracted media file locations to IBM Installation Manager Preferences.
    1. Enter P to open Preferences.
    2. Enter 1 for Repositories.
    3. Enter D and input absolute path to location ../agent-installer/815/RLKS_ADMIN_AGENT/disk1”. Then press Enter.

  10. Press Enter to select the default value of Next.
  11. Review the features to install, and then click U to update the package. A summary list of upgraded packages displays.
  12. Enter F to finish.
  13. The agent is installed by default as a Windows service and can be configured as a service on UNIX platforms. See Starting Rational License Key Server Administration and Reporting Tool on system startup.
Attention: If the agent is already configured with the reporting tool, when you upgrade, the reporting tool shows the reporting status as Not Running. When you select Start reporting for the first time, the log file conversion process begins. Depending on the size of your server log file, it can take time for the initial conversion of the data. The system must convert the data in the entire log to the required format.
