After Rational® ClearQuest® is
installed on a network host, other UNIX system
and Linux hosts with compatible architectures can
run Rational ClearQuest clients
remotely on that network host.
To
provide remote access to
Rational ClearQuest
from the Linux and UNIX network host, complete these tasks:
- Export the ClearQuest installation
directory on the network host.
Verify that the exported directory
on the network host is accessible to all remote UNIX system and Linux hosts
that will run Rational ClearQuest.
- Log in to the network resource, source the setup file from the
remote UNIX system or Linux host.
- Start Rational ClearQuest.
