Deploying Java execution object models (XOM)
If you set Java™ XOM management for a ruleset, Java XOM resources and libraries are generated as JAR or ZIP files when you deploy the Java XOM to a Rule Execution Server instance from a Rule Designer project or by running command-line Ant tasks.
From Rule
Designer,
you can also deploy Java XOM
in other contexts:
- From the RuleApp editor. For more information, see Step 4 of Task 1: Deploying the loan validation application. In this case, the XOM is automatically associated with the ruleset through a managed URI.
- For remote testing when you use Decision Validation Services. For more information, see Making the XOM accessible by deploying the XOM.
Ant tasks are provided for you to set deployment parameters. For more information, see Ant tasks for Java XOM management.
