Learn how to install Developer for z/OS® on the client and the server.

Developer for z/OS is built on a client/server architecture:

• The client component is an Eclipse-based workspace that communicates with the remote system.
• The server component operates on a z/OS system.

Installing Developer for z/OS, the Program Directories, and the Developer for z/OS Host Configuration Guide, which are available in the related links, explain the installation and configuration tasks that are required before you can successfully use Developer for z/OS.
